Friskney is situated mid - way between Boston and Skegness

about 2 miles in from the shores of The Wash.

This site is intended to be a guide to the village and

our activities.

Friskney is a thriving village with a school that has

in recent years  received an outstanding grade from

OfSTED.

The local shop / post office serves the community, and

the Village Hall is well used.

There are two public house, one in the centre of the village, the other on the outskirts.

Our Church has a long history with a number of interesting artefacts on display.

Although primarily an agricultural area, there are many local family businesses

that support the village.

Currently there are a number of Sports clubs in the village, all with very active programmes, some of which by nature of the sport are seasonal.

The sports clubs range in fitness levels from quite high to the more relaxing style.

The ‘Social’ clubs are by their nature are somewhat more sedentary. However, they do attract a good following.
