Lincolnshire County Council has announced a series of new grants to help local businesses and communities.

Your local store, post office, pub or other community venue could be eligible to apply for a grant of up to £10,000 to provide or enhance essential services for local residents.

Use your grant to:

# Create a new essential service ,    such as a village store or post office.

# Re-vitalise the last store or post    office by improving your    performance and expanding your    product range.

# Introduce new services, such as    grocery deliveries.

Deadline for grant applications is Friday 28th November.

The Rural Grant ‘Small Cycle Storage Scheme’ has been set up to support rural essential and tourism services in Lincolnshire’s small rural towns and village communities, to encourage sustainable travel choices.

Funding is available to support rural businesses with the provision of cycle storage.

The maximum grant available under this scheme is £1000. The will not exceed 75% of the total project cost and the upper and lower amounts are at the discretion of the grant panel

The grant will support cycle storage which includes:

# 5 stand toast rack

# Plant locks

# Surface mounted Sheffield stand

#Sub-surface Sheffield stand

# Delivery and installation costs
