The hall was due to have some electrical work, also a new toilet floor covering in the ‘gents done, when the hall was closed down in March.
A new floor covering was replaced in July.
A small section of plaster had to removed and replaced, and the committee are looking forward to having the toilets re-decorated.
The electrical work has now been completed, two outside double sockets have been installed to be available for use by outside events. A full electrical check has been done with two emergency lights being replaced.
The defibrillator which was donated to the hall has now been installed inside the hall.
Annually in August the hall has R. G. Hygiene to clean the hall. They have made contact and will shortly perform a ‘deep clean’.
At present the committee have taken the decision to close the hall until 1st September and make a further assessment of the situation.
