A VACANCY HAS ARISEN

ON THE COUNCIL TO ASSIST IN

THE RUNNING OF  PARISH AFFAIRS

COULD THAT PERSON BE YOU?

Qualifications

Applicants must show an interest in the future of the village.

Must be over 18 years of age, and have lived in, or within two miles of the Parish boundaries. for at least eighteen months.

May also either work in, or have property in the village.

Training courses are available for new Councillors to attend.

Should ideally also have on-line facilities.

Duties

Councillors are required to . .

. . . attend the general meetings, usually one per month (no meeting in August or December).

 . . . Sit on any sub-committees where your skills may be useful.

. . .  Act as a contact point (if possible) for any parishioner.

Graphic Potential Councillor

If by the 19th June 2017 a request for an election to fill the current vacancies is made in writing to the Returning Officer (at Tedder Hall, Manby Park, Louth, LN11 8UP) by ten electors for the Parish, an election will be held to fill the vacancies, otherwise the vacancies will be filled by co-option.
