SHOW RESULTS The show took place on Sunday 8th June and all the results can be found here just by following the links. A 'natural' theme ran through this years show and this was also reflected in some of the displays.
The show this year was blessed with superb warm and sunny weather. After the previous two days this was a welcome change and must have encouraged a good few extra visitors who made the most of the day and the attractions on offer. It was very much a 'shirtsleeves' day as can be seen in the photo to the right!
		For all the performers in the arena the weather was a disadvantage as it was very much case of 'great activity'! A new display for this year was one of martial arts in the form of 'Kick Boxing' by the 'Academy Pride UK of Kick Boxing' - the black attire certainly ws not the thing to wear on Sunday.
Another activity that was hot going was by the 'Richmond County Liners' line dance display group from Skegness who made a return visit this year. It may have been hot, but it certainly didn't stop them enjoying themselves as can be seen from this photograph.
Among many of the other stalls was one from the local Women's Institute Group who had a 'bottle stall' with a difference. This can be seen below right with members Hilary and Heather manning it. Our 'Parish Plan' team were also represented (below left) and they had on show some of the photographs from a recent competition. It was also a chance for some of the residents who hadn't yet met the team to do so. Carole Goulding, the groups chair, is seen here discussing progress with an interested villager.
But once again the highlight of the day was the all too brief fly-past by the one of the 'Spitfires' from the 'Battle of Britain Memorial Flight'.
